Much thought and planning goes into every litter.  Conformation, temperment, health.  In an effort to ensure that I minimize the risk of genetic or inherited diseases, my wolfhounds are all extensively health tested.  I clear all hearts, hips and elbows through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) and eyes are cleared through CERF.  Once all these tests are performed and the dogs are cleared, they then obtain their CHIC (Canine Health Information Centre) number.  Both the CHIC registry and OFA have a public database that can be accessed online.  Please see "Links" page.
